How to Adopt a Dog

We want your adoption to succeed, not just for a day, but for a lifetime! We have a thorough matchmaking approach to ensure that our dogs find their furever home.

            Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis and a home will be chosen on a best-fit basis.

If you are ready to adopt, we recommend having your application already filled out and ready to go.

We appreciate your understanding; our main goal is to find the most suitable home for each dog. If you miss out on a particular dog, we will do our best to find you a suitable alternative!

Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram for frequent updates on available dogs and adoption info. We need 7-10 days to reply to Adoption Applications, as we are all volunteers. Your patience is appreciated.

The info included in each WCP bio is provided to us from the international rescuer. WCP does not have in-person access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions, although we ask for video proof of a dog's attributes wherever possible. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person(s) adopting them and the environment in which they live. 

WCP is unable to guarantee the accuracy of a dogs age and/or breed. These are strictly "best guesses" based on veterinary exams and their educated estimates.
